We Must Manage Wisely What God Has Given Us – (Proverbs 27:23-27)

These verses give us practical advice for living a wonderful life and preparing for the future. The phrases "riches are not forever" and "crown endure to all generations" refer to having temporary fame and fortune. To have a situation which for the moment is taking care of us financially, but in all likelihood will not be there in the future. The Bible points out that such a situation will not last forever, therefore we must trust in God and follow His principles for prudent planning. In addition, this also applies to the everyday person who has a steady job and steady income. These passages are not telling us to rely on material wealth or gain, nor are they telling us to seek after wealth or success.
Rather, they speak to managing well the resources God has blessed us with now in a wise and godly fashion, while placing our faith and trust in the Lord alone. The Lord is telling us here to look after what we have, to manage it correctly and take care of it appropriately. For by doing so it will help take care of us when the time comes. It's the equivalent of saying "save for a rainy day" but also includes the idea of managing your resources properly. Now we may ask "what about trusting in the Lord?" And that is true we are to trust in God to provide, and we are to use Biblical principles taught to us by the Lord to manage what we have. We are to use God's wisdom to wisely manage what God has given us. We are not to squander His gifts and we are to share what we have with those in need. This means we must never forget God's basic principle on wealth and spiritual maturity; which is, God blesses us in order that we can be a blessing to others."
