Daily Bible Study
Do you have mercy and compassion for others? Do you hate those who in cruelty oppress and harm others? Do you have a heart for those who are lost and without Christ in this world? Then you have a heart for God! We, all are God's creation. Whether we are rich, poor, weak or strong, we are all God's creation and He loves us dearly. However, God in His word has shown us that He has a special heart toward the widow, the fatherless, the oppressed, the hungry, the poor and the lost who do not know Jesus and the salvation He alone can provide. Therefore, as God's children, we too should have a special heart toward those in need. We must always remember God blesses us, not so we can have more now in this world, but in order that we can bless others through what God has given us.

The Lord blesses us, so that we may be more of a blessing to those in need around us. So we can give what He has given to us, to those in need and spread the Gospel of Christ to those who are lost and suffering. God gives us this blessing so that we can store up for ourselves a heavenly treasure, one that does not wither away. A good treasure, that neither moth, nor rust can destroy. We do this knowing that as children of God, we are responsible for how we use what God has given us. Every one of us will give an account of what we did with the blessings God has given us. Our rewards in heaven will be based on our heart towards God, and toward those in need here. Moreover, our true heart for God is displayed by what we do with the time, talents and resources the Lord has given us here in this world.
