In addition, this list can also reflect the fruits of an unsaved soul that does not know Jesus. These things listed here represent the attitude and heart of those who do not belong to Christ. In addition, these passages help to show us God doesn't just look at our actions, He looks are our hearts. God is interested in the motives and desires behind our actions more so than the action itself.
In addition, this also reflects the state of a man just prior to receiving God's just punish and wrath for sins. In other words, these are the characteristics of a heart not cleansed by the blood of Christ. Dear believer review this list well, if any of these can be found in us, we desperately need to repent and turn once again to Jesus. We need to daily set our sights on Him and not on the things of this world, which we know will be burned away. And once we have done so, we strive to store up treasures in heaven which are not consumed by fire. And we do that, by submitting to the guidance of the Holy Spirit on a day to day basis, carrying out the actions which result from the love in our heart for Jesus and those who are lost. Moreover, we better equip ourselves for God's service, by remaining strong in His word, steadfast in our faith and trust of the Lord, and bold in the sharing of the gospel.
