Tie Godly Teaching Around Your Neck – (Proverbs 6:20-23)

Daily Proverbs

My son, keep your father's command, and do not forsake the law of your mother. Bind them continually upon your heart; tie them around your neck. When you roam, they will lead you; when you sleep, they will keep you; and when you awake, they will speak with you. For the commandment is a lamp, and the law a light; reproofs of instruction are the way of life.

In the Gospels we find our savior in Jesus and gain eternal life through Him. And as we continue through the New Testament we learn what it means to live the Christian life and finish our race well, to receive the glory which awaits us! We have to understand this is no accident, this is how God intended His word to work in our lives. God is the author of His word, and it's His revelation to us. God meant for His word to take us through every phase of life from birth to the time we go home to be with Him.
