Daily Proverbs
Do not be a witness against your neighbor without cause, For would you deceive with your lips?

Daily Bible Study
Dear believer, how many times has our sin nature fooled us into justifying what we know is wrong or what we know is a lie? The Holy Spirit and God's word have made it clear to us that we are forgiven of all our sins by the blood of Christ, through our faith in Jesus! Nothing but the grace of God and His love for us could accomplish such a feat. And that is a good thing for us, because God doesn't accept technicalities. God is not a man that we can debate and argue with Him. God is not going to listen to our excuses or justifications. Right and wrong is determined by God, not society, therefore, we have to remember no person on this planet has ever or will ever debate God. All people will be bowed before God, having accepted His grace through Christ or facing His judgment. We must remember our denial of God, means nothing to the Lord. Regardless of what we believe nothing changes the fact every person who has ever lived or will ever live, will one day face the judgment of God. All people who have ever lived, or ever will live, great and small, rich and poor, powerful and weak will face the judgment of God.

And we will do so either justified by the grace of God through our faith in Jesus, or guilty by our rejection of God's grace. Too often the first thing out of our mouths when we are caught in our sins is, "but…" followed by the best excuse we can create. Moreover, some actually think, because our sin was hidden from view, that somehow our denial actually means something. Or because the person we sinned against wasn't present we think our denial makes us innocent. None of that means a thing to God. God looks at our hearts and the desire and motivations behind our actions, as well as the actions themselves. God is interested in our hearts, not our arguments. God wants a relationship not a debate. No one is going to debate God. God does not care what our opinion is, and our opinions have no bearing on God's law, nor his standards for perfection. This means no one, will ever be justified before God by their works. No one will receive salvation outside of faith in Jesus. Therefore, we cannot honor God without faith in Christ. And once we have received Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we can through the power of the Holy Spirit, honor God in all we do in public and in private. Remembering the love of God and the eternity which awaits all people, means everything to us.
