The Righteous Receive Eternity, the Wicked Wrath – (Proverbs 11:30-31)

The Righteous Receive Eternity, the Wicked Wrath – (Proverbs 11:30-31)

Daily Proverbs

The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and he who wins souls is wise. If the righteous will be recompensed on the earth, how much more the ungodly and the sinner.

Daily Bible Study
We have righteousness through Christ who strengthens us and saves us from our sins. Because of our faith in Jesus, we received His imputed righteousness, which has been freely given to us when we accepted Him as our Lord and Savior. Jesus told us, "To him who overcomes, I will give to eat from the tree of life, which is in the midst of the Paradise of God." This means because of our faith in Jesus, we have received eternal life. When we accepted Jesus as our Lord and Savior, as our God, we received from God a new spirit. Our spirit which was dead in trespasses and sins, was replaced with a new spirit, which is alive and sensitive to the things of God. We were spiritually reborn as a new creation in Christ Jesus our Lord. Moreover, with our new birth, came the indwelling of the Holy Spirit who walks with us from the time of our salvation until we see Jesus face to face. The Holy Spirit, carries out God's process of spiritual growth in our hearts and minds. This process is referred to as "Sanctification" and it continues from the moment of our salvation until we go home to be with the Lord. Dear child of God never forget what the Bible confirms for us, that "every knee will bow and every tongue confess Jesus Christ is Lord!"

What this means is that every human person who has ever lived, who ever will live, will some day in the not too distant future, see Jesus face to face. We will all come before Christ!  Some of us will do so as children of God and joint-heirs with Him and it will be a time of unspeakable joy. While others will do so as condemned souls, destined for eternal punishment and separation. We have to remember there is no middle ground, there is no neutral position when it comes to Jesus. Therefore, there is no greater service than to win souls for the kingdom of God through the spread of the Gospel. God's will for every human being is first and foremost salvation, and after that everything else is secondary. This means we can never forget, if we, being children of God have such a great reward; how much more the punishment for those wicked who rebel against God? How much more for those who do wickedly to God's people and hate the things of God? Dear believer there is a great wrath waiting for those who do not know Jesus. Therefore, there is no greater love that we can have than to share the Gospel of Christ with those who are lost. There is no greater work than to use the time, talents and resources God has given us to tell His lost children of Jesus, and the eternal life He alone can provide.
