The End of the Wicked Is Always Destruction – (Proverbs 26:26-28)

Daily Proverbs

Though his hatred is covered by deceit, His wickedness will be revealed before the assembly. Whoever digs a pit will fall into it, And he who rolls a stone will have it roll back on him. A lying tongue hates those who are crushed by it, And a flattering mouth works ruin.

Daily Bible Study
Dear believer, God is not mocked, sometimes we can worry about the wicked and envy their progress in life. We see their gain as a result of their deceit and wonder where is God? But we must remember God is not mocked and there never was a wicked person who in the end gained anything. All wicked who mock God and reject Christ will in the end suffer the loss they intended for others, adding to it the loss of their soul. And in the end those traps which they have set for others, will have ensnared them in Hell. Though it is hard for us to understand the end from the beginning as we watch the wicked prosper in this world. We must remember there has never been a wicked person who has died happy and without fear.

There has never been a wicked person who has died safe, knowing for sure where they will spend eternity. And more importantly, there has never been a wicked person who has died in the arms of Christ. And dear believer, it is at that point, when death comes to those who do not know Jesus, that the real destruction takes place. Those who die without Jesus live for eternity in torment and separation because they rejected God. It is so difficult for those who follow Christ to suffer loss in this world, while watching evil flourish. But we must remember we live in a dark and fallen world. A world controlled by Satan, whom the Apostle Paul calls the "prince of the power of the air." Therefore, we should not be surprised when evil flourishes in a world which itself is evil and at enmity against God. And we must remember as James tells us in his New Testament epistle. It is only through the power of the Holy Spirit who dwells in us, that we can remain steadfast and persevere through the trials of this life.
