In the Lord, we have wisdom and through Him we can live a more abundant life. God gives us eternal life through the salvation of our souls and His word, the Bible, gives us wisdom for living a more abundant life. In addition, the Bible tells us that Jesus is not only the Author of creation, but He holds all of creation together. Knowing this, helps us to better understand that our salvation is secure in Him! Moreover, we know that God is sovereign and it's impossible for mankind to comprehend the unfolding purposes of God's providence and to completely understand His purposes for our lives. In addition, it's impossible for us to understand the impact we can have for His kingdom when we submit to His will and guidance. Therefore, as children of God we walk by faith. This means we place our trust in Christ alone for salvation, knowing He has paid the price for our sins, and through faith alone His righteousness has been imputed to us by a Holy God. Therefore, we belong to Jesus and not to this world.
And because our faith we have not only become children of God, but also bondservants of Christ. And because of this new status as children of God and joint-heirs with Jesus in the kingdom of God, we seek His will and His guidance for our lives. The Lord has a purpose for the lives of all those who know Him. Therefore, His first desire is that all people would come to faith in Christ. And once we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we can begin to live a more abundant life through Him. Living a more abundant life starts with salvation, followed by submitting to the direction and guidance of the Holy Spirit, and not our own will. A true child of God is here to do the will of the Father. This means we seek what God wants for our lives, rather than ask God to bless our will, in order that we may better do as we please. Finally, since God gives us breath, brought life into this world and holds all things together, it would be foolish of us to assume we understand the purpose and meaning of life, as well as our place in this world without Jesus. Rather, we first must place our trust in Him by faith alone. And we do so knowing God's will is that all people would spend eternity with Him and our calling is to submit to the Holy Spirit's guidance on a day to day bases.
