One of the attributes of God is His omnipresence, this word means God is everywhere. We must be careful, however, this word does not mean God is "in everything," that would be idolatry. Other religions teach that God is some force that exist within all objects living or inanimate, and this is not true. There is only one God who exists in three distinct persons, God the Father, God the Son, who is Jesus Christ and God the Spirit, who is the Holy Spirit. Rather, God is everywhere, He is "omnipresent." Omnipresence is an attribute of divinity and it belongs only to God. In addition, the Holy Spirit, is with us always. This should bring joy and comfort to all Christians. Because this means there is no where we can go, where God cannot be with us. There is no where we can go, where God cannot see us and know what we are going through. So no matter what the trial, what the hardship, or what we go through, God is right there with us! He is our help in times of need.

One of the other attributes of God is His omniscience. This means God knows everything! He knows the end from the beginning. There is nothing too complex or too advanced for God to understand. Moreover, God knows our hearts, He knows the real hurt, we feel and He knows the true motives and intentions of our hearts. There is no action or deed where God doesn't already know the true motives behind it. This also means God already knows our needs, our desires, our hearts, our requests and what causes us pain before we ever come to Him in prayer. Prayer is for our benefit, prayer is for our relationship and understanding. Prayer helps to strengthen our relationship with God through regular communication. Moreover, prayer brings the power of God into our lives and the lives of others. It helps us to better align our will with God's will, through the work of the Holy Spirit in us. Because through prayer, we grow closer in our relationship with God, a relationship we have because of our faith in Christ Jesus our Lord.
