The Good Life, One that Follows the Lord – (Proverbs 15:23-25)

Daily Proverbs

A man has joy by the answer of his mouth, and a word spoken in due season, how good it is. The way of life winds upward for the wise, that he may turn away from hell below. The Lord will destroy the house of the proud, but He will establish the boundary of the widow.

Daily Bible Study
When we follow the Lord in humility, relying solely on the Lord for our strength, our provision and our guidance, He can make even our enemies to be at peace with us. We were each created for a purpose. A purpose that can only be realized through a relationship with Jesus. Each and every one of us has a God size hole in our hearts, a longing and desire if you will, that can only be filled by a relationship with God through Christ Jesus our Lord. Moreover, as long as that longing exists and is not satisfied, we cannot know true wisdom. We must first have a relationship with God to understand true wisdom. Moreover, that relationship with God can only be restored by first accepting Jesus as our Lord and Savior. And with true wisdom we develop a deep down love, respect and reverence for a Holy God who loves us so, along with a strong desire for the study and knowledge of His word.

The Bible calls this type of love for God, "Fear of the Lord" and it refers to an intimate relationship with God, which has been restored through our faith in Christ. Therefore, when we focus on the Lord and let Him guide our lives. When we gain God's wisdom through a relationship with Him and we become obedient to the guidance of the Holy Spirit, in the end, we will accomplish things for the kingdom of God, we never thought possible. Moreover, we will do things and be involved in things we never saw on the horizon of our lives. And the best part of all of this is, God has more planned for His children, than we ever planned for ourselves. And to take part in those plans, we must first place our faith in Christ Jesus our Lord and restore our relationship with God the Father. Remember, no one ever in the history of the world, who has given their lives to Christ, has ever regretted a lifetime lived for Him and by His guidance.
