Daily Bible Study
Favor with God and people, is a result of the changes in our hearts from the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives. This is part of the fruit, which is a result of our salvation. In other words, our character changes, as our hearts and minds change, this stems from the work of Christ in us. Our relationship with God the Father, which was broken by sin as now been restored through Christ. Because of our relationship with Jesus, we have a divinely inspired joy and peace within us. This in turn helps us to build friendships with others, because our hearts were changed by the understanding that God first loved us! And through the work of the Holy Spirit, we grow in the wisdom of God, which we apply to our day to day lives. And because of God's instruction in our lives through the study of His word, the Bible, we grow spiritually because we grow in the knowledge of Christ Jesus our Lord.

By the guidance of the Holy Spirit we gain a better understanding that brings with it humility and love for those around us and for the Lord. Humility is the key, God cannot work with a proud heart. And true humility comes from a better understanding of who Jesus is, and what He has done for us! This understanding of how lost we were, how dead, we were in our trespasses and sins prior to salvation, also brings with it a deep sense of joy. We know that we are secure in the hands of Jesus. Jesus who will never let us go! Jesus who is our faithful Shepherd watches over us. He cares for us, because we through faith belong to Him. Through our faith in Jesus, we have been adopted into the family of God, as children of God and joint-heirs with Christ. Therefore, we are the sheep of His pasture, knowing we can rest under His almighty protection.
