By Our Actions We Are Known and Remembered by God – (Proverbs 10:6-9)

Wickedness causes chaos and strife, and often times a fool will do what they can to gather attention to themselves. This is because those who are without Christ draw their desire and strength from the fallen world around them, their source being their own sin-nature. However the source of the wise man is God! Therefore, the source of the Christian is Christ Jesus our Lord. God's work in our hearts through the efforts of the Holy Spirit is called sanctification and it creates a well of life that springs up in those who are truly saved. As a result of the Holy Spirit's work in our hearts and in our lives we grow in understanding. As a result of reading and studying God's word through the guidance of the Holy Spirit we grow in wisdom. And a person who grows in God's wisdom often exhibits wise speech, as they grow in their understanding and fear of the Lord, which exhibits itself in their day to day lives.
In addition, their love for others often brings forgiveness, mercy, harmony and understanding and that's what is meant here by covering sins. Children of God, because of their love for Christ, should always work to help those around them, thereby covering the sins of others because of the mercy we have in our hearts. This is compared to the wicked person, whose idol is self, who works to uncover sins and has no forgiveness. Their actions more often than not lead to a constant strife and turmoil because they are always uncovering the faults of others, blaming anyone who is not on their side and creating chaos in their search for more and more recognition and control. Dear Christian, we must be on guard in these present times, which are primed to bring everyone to the love of self, love of wealth and pleasure, while all the time, causing an undetected hardness of the heart that grows more and more prevalent in a world which is fallen and at enmity with God.
