We Have a Purpose, To Deliver the Truth of God – (Proverbs 14:25)

Contrary to what the world wants you to believe you have a purpose! You have a divine calling that when fulfilled will bring you everlasting joy and happiness. And contrary to what the world would have you believe, our calling from God is not about us! It's about what God would have you do for His kingdom, what God would have us give to others, giving of ourselves for the Gospel message and for those in need around us. Every believer small and great has to remember three things we are called to do. The first is to never leave our first love who is Christ Jesus our Lord. Jesus is always central to everything we do and will always be the central focus of everything. The moment we lose sight of Jesus, we lose sight of everything. Therefore, we never forget Jesus is the key, first, foremost and always!

Jesus is the key to our faith, He is why, and how we exist. The second is to remember our role in God's kingdom. All of us, great and small have been called to be priests. We are called to be living sacrifices preaching the Good News of salvation to those who are lost. And lastly to remain a true witness of Jesus with our lives! This last one can be especially hard at times, when living in a fallen world at enmity with God. Moreover, it can only be done by the work of the Holy Spirit who changes our hearts and minds. When we accept Jesus as our Lord, Savior and God, we are indwelt by the Holy Spirit who carries out God's process of spiritual growth in us. He strengthens us, and He prepares us for the work of God ahead. Therefore, we must remember in order to be a good witness for the Gospel in this fallen world. We must first place our faith in Christ, and only when that has been done, and Jesus is truly our Lord and Savior, then we can rely on the Holy Spirit to lead us and guide us.
