True Wisdom Does Not Come from Man – (Proverbs 15:31-33)

True wisdom that leads to life only comes from God. Yes man has knowledge and understanding about the world we live in, however, advanced as it is, it will never be complete, we will never know all there is to know about this world physical or spiritual. We are always learning more and understanding nature better. However, as time passes, society as a whole understands we are only scratching the surface in our knowledge of this world and the universe. We do not have the knowledge and understanding God has. Moreover, as created beings living in a created world we will never have the wisdom, knowledge and understanding of the God who created us. God is the creator of the universe and nature and the Bible tells us, "His ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are not our thoughts."
The Bible tells us we were, "fearfully and wonderfully made," by a God who loves us dearly and wants an intimate relationship with us. As followers of Christ, we have to understand that the knowledge of mankind can never be complete. This is because one of the most critical areas of understanding man lacks is the knowledge of God, and that kind of instruction can only come from the Lord Himself. And it first starts with a fear of the Lord. The Hebrew word used for "fear" means to have a deep down profound respect, awe, reverence and love for God. This is necessary because God can't teach us His truths if we do not first acknowledge Him as God. Once we have done so and we have a relationship with God through Jesus, then we are indwelt by the Holy Spirit who helps us to increase in wisdom, as well as helps us to increase our knowledge and understanding of God as we read the Bible.
