The Gospel of Christ Rejoices the Hearts of Men – (Proverbs 15:30)

A good report stirs our hearts and brings joy to our lives. This verse is speaking in regards to the wisdom and blessings we receive from God. These include the blessings of life, the revelation of God's word and the guidance of the Holy Spirit for those who have placed their faith in Jesus alone for salvation. In other words, these are the good reports we get from the Lord, from the study of His word, and from the changes the Holy Spirit has brought into our lives. This verse speaks of how following the Lord brings untold blessings into our lives as children of God. This passage helps us to understand that we bear up through the trials and tribulations of this world, because God is with us.

Because of our faith in Christ, we have the indwelling of the Holy Spirit with us always. But the best report of all is to know that God loves us! He loves you and me and He loves us today, tomorrow and forevermore. God loves us so much so that He gave His only begotten Son to die for us. Jesus, who is God in the flesh, came that we may have life and have it more abundantly! Jesus the Second Person of the Trinity took on flesh in order to pay the price that we could not afford to pay. Jesus did so, in order that God's report toward us, a report of grace, mercy and love may be fulfilled in Christ. The gift of grace is free, therefore we can be as close to God as we choose to be! However, a relationship with God has to come first. And only Christ Jesus our Lord can reconcile us back to God the Father and restore humanity's relationship, which was lost to sin and the fall of mankind.
